Hi, I’m Karen!

I’m a mother of two daughters and wife to my high school sweetie. I’ve always enjoyed making lists and organising my day. Combined with a love of colour, crafting, and addiction to beautiful stationery, Crafted Colour was born.

Crafted Colour is also the home of the Crafted Design Team, consisting of myself and my crazy cat Dexter. I’m not sure how helpful Dexter is but he is in the room. We design digital products such as planner pages and other printables on Etsy.

The Crafted Colour blog was created as a place to share my love of planners. Some of my other passions include crafts such as zentangle, drawing, calligraphy, crochet and dyeing yarn. Combining the two passions into a website that shares the best of both seemed natural.

If you are new to the planner addiction, the ongoing blog series Planner 101 has been designed to walk you through setting up your first planner. If you’re a crafter, like me, you’ll soon be seeing how I use a craft journal to keep track of my projects. Well, I try to keep track of them LOL. I’ll also share some tricks and tips for staying organised and using your planner to its fullest potential during this series.

In March of 2016, the CraftedColourStore on Etsy opened its doors. Customers can purchase printable planner pages for A5 and large ring-bound planners.
